Hainan holds 1st Boao Intl Life & Beauty Care Forum
About 400 renowned experts, scholars, and physicians from the global medical aesthetics industry participated in the 1st Boao International Life & Beauty Care Forum held in Boao, Hainan from May 22 to 23.
Co-sponsored by the Boao Life & Beauty Care Exchange Center and the Boao Yiling Life Care Center, the forum aimed to promote academic exchanges in the medical and aesthetic plastic surgery industry, as well as to jointly build the world's top medical beauty and anti-aging service platform.
Professor Jiang Hua, president of the Chinese Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Doctor, as well as 16 other well-known experts and scholars in the medical and aesthetic plastic surgery industries delivered academic speeches at the forum. They carried out in-depth discussions on the academic connotation, discipline construction, practice system, industry standards, industry norms, and future development trends in the field of life and beauty care, formulating standards for the international life and beauty care industry to promote their sustainable development.
A ceremony for the establishment of the Yiling International Breast Cancer Prevention and Treatment & Breast Reconstruction Center was also held during the forum.
Li Wei, chairman of Yiling Hospital Management Group, said that to provide standardized and effective treatment for breast cancer patients at home and abroad, the center will cooperate with outstanding plastic surgeons and breast oncologists to form a world-class expert team for breast cancer prevention and breast reconstruction. The center will introduce the latest international medical technology, drugs, and medical devices by making full use of its location and policy advantages.

Hainan launches big data management department to promote FTZ
The unveiling ceremony for the Big Data Management Department of Hainan Province was held in Haikou on May 23.
The establishment of the department was one of the institutional innovation initiatives in the construction of the China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and a free trade port with Chinese characteristics, which will promote the innovation and enhancement of efficient services of Hainan's big data management system.
The department is established and directly managed by the Hainan Provincial People's Government. It takes responsibility for big data construction, management, and services. It mainly manages usage of financial funds, reviews city's and county's information construction projects, and organizes the implementation of smart city policies.
From a social perspective, the department will promote the development and application of big data in various fields, such as social economy and people's livelihood security, guiding the research and application of big data analysis.
Shen Danyang, deputy governor of the Hainan Provincial People's Government, and other officials from provincial government departments attended the ceremony.
